This frame is very stylish, very lightweight, and is a good fit for somewhat larger faces. It ships with 4 magnetic clip ons. The glasses themselves are attractive with or without the clip ons. But they do have some issues that take getting used to. The frame (including the arms) is a very flexible material. This makes it difficult to make the stay snug on your face. Mine constantly slide down my nose despite the adjustable silicone nose pads. Add a set of clip ons and the weight of the front of the glasses makes the "sliding down" issue much worse. The fame manufacturer includes a multi page guide of the dozen or so clip ons that are available, including ones that are very dark or almost clear, mirrored or not, polarized or not, and tones ranging from yellow through brown, grey and black. But you don't get a choice of which ones come with these, and you can't order more. You'll always get a yellow and clear (blue blocking) lens. My last pair from SmartBuy and this manufacturer came with a nice mid-filter (60%?) mirrored polarized, and a VERY dark (90%) polarized that weren't that useful. This pair came with two polarized clip ons, one with a brown tone that blocks very little light (15%?), and a mirrored brown set that is is only about 40% blocking. It's a real shame that you can't order more types, or control which ones you get. The yellow are great and worth having for sure. The blue blockers are a waste; I never used the ones included with my last set, either. Also, unlike my last pair, these clip ons don't sit flush against the glasses. There's a noticeable gap at the bottom of the lens (see the photos). That makes it easier to knock the clip ons off. It's also FAR more difficult to adjust the way the front of the glasses sit on your face. They're flat. If you want to bend the glasses at the nose to get them to contour around your face a bit, the clip ons' magnets aren't strong enough to hold them on. It's difficult to shape the clips ons to match the (bendy) frame. My recommendation if you are interested in this is to upgrade your lenses to the lightest weight, thinnest ones so you can to minimize the weight at the front to reduce the number of times you punch yourself in the nose.

To get started, you'll need a mirror, a ruler with millimeter (mm) measurements – or even better, a flexible tape measure – and maybe a friend to help ensure accuracy. You’re going to use all of these to work out the necessary frame width, bridge width, and temple length of your glasses.

Frame Width

The frame width is the total horizontal length of the glasses. To find this, measure the distance between your temples by looking in the mirror and placing your ruler or measuring directly over your face, above your brow. Record all the measurements in millimeters.

Bridge Width

The bridge width of glasses is the distance between one lens and the other.

To get the corresponding measurement at home, place the ruler on the bridge of your nose and measure its width.

The bridge width usually ranges from 15 to 25 mm.

Temple Length

Temple length refers to the arms of the glasses. Measure from the edge of your eyebrow all the way around your ear, to where you want the tip of the glasses temple to reach, as demonstrated in the image below.

Most temples have a bend to hook over the ears, so ensure the length you choose accommodates this curve for a snug fit.
