Taylor Swift came out of nowhere, literally. While her passion has always been in music, it was only recently (with the debut album titled Tim McGraw) that Swift made her way into the hearts of millions of Americans.

For a young star (21) she has quickly made her way from a small-time singer to the number one female recording artist of 2009. At the 2010 Grammy Awards Ceremony, Swift performed “Fairy Tale” in front of a crowd of peers and fans and even sand with Stevie Nicks, marking her status in Hollywood as legitimate. While many in the music industry thought she would be a flash in the pan, Swift has demonstrated that she is there to stay. Her humble attitude and ability to write and perform hit after hit shows that she has tapped into the American psyche perfectly. With a mix of perfect fashion and talent that really exceeds her experience and age, Swift earned endless applause at the 2010 Grammys.
