Spring into Fresh Fashion

With the winter snows melting quickly away, the time to start considering your spring wardrobe is fast approaching. As you pack away your fleece and wool, keep in mind that your eyewear for spring should be unique to the season, like a fresh pair of baby blue Ray Ban Wayfarers.

Spring is about birth, renewal, life, color and the return of Mother Nature from her annual slumber. Spring colors are usually pastel or bright to signify and pay homage to the return of nature’s natural colors. Spring fashion usually involves a mix of flowers and patterns, more lightweight fabrics and hair styles, and a more playful and fun general attitude towards fashion accessories like eyewear, purses and shoes.

Eyewear is a unique arena for your spring wardrobe overhaul. Think lightweight. Think rejuvenation. If you wore heavy frames all winter, consider doing the opposite this spring. Frameless indoor eyewear is the best option for a lighter, fresher feel. For springtime sunglasses, a fashionable person would consider bright, light and fun the three primary traits for spring-specific sunglasses. Brands like Prada, Versace and Gucci are all great for serious events and black dresses but for spring they are too serious, too black and, dare I say it, too fashionable. We want to look playfully put together, not professionally assembled.

In the spirit of rejuvenation, sporty sunglasses are all the rage in spring. Bolle for women are especially fetching and fresh, and give the added sense of adventure and fun that other brands make up for in high fashion. For men, Police sunglasses are always great, but this spring step outside your normal boundaries and try a pair of Oakley sunglasses, which are more for sports and outdoors and thus more in tune with the season.
